What is the recommended battery type, or size for a L275. I've been told a 24F, but that only is rated for 700 cranking amps. The video shown recommends a 850 cranking amp battery. Any good suggestions?
Right now I have a unbranded, (no name),designed for fleet use. It's a 27C with top post. This was not my battery of choice but I was made a deal I could not refuse. The battery sold for $129. Someone bought it and had it in their vehicle for two days and said that it was no good and brought it back. The battery dealer charged it and tested it and it was OK, (the truck had a bad alternator but the owner refused to accept that and kept changing batteries). They offered me the battery for $25 with a two year guaranty, (it normally came with a 5 year), so I said "sold to the man with a smile". I figured if I got two winters out of it I was ahead of the game, that was 6 winters ago and it still passes a load test. I always load test all my batteries before winter and replace them if they are even close to marginal.Olthumpa, So what battery type are you using in your L275?
