We have an orchard on 6 acres and will need to spray pesticide two or three times a year.

Do you think a 4WD 2650 with loader will have the HP to pull a fully loaded 300 gallon Pul-Blast sprayer and run the PTO?

Our current tractor is a 38 HP Long 360 which has no problem. I want the loader option that the 2650 but want to sell the Long to help finance the Kubota

Thanks for any advice on this.

I dont think running the pump will be an issue, the weight is a concern. 3000 plus pounds will push things around if tractor isnt heavy enough. Minimizing the margin for error is important. My preference is 50% or more heavier.

Low speed on flat ground, should not have a problem.
Hilly ground, I would want a larger tractor - heavier.
Wet ground and any grade - LOOK OUT!
Been for an interesting ride or 2 before.

What size fan does your sprayer have, that is where the HP demand is needed.

I have a L3450 and it's a couple of sizes bigger than the L2650, it was set up for orchard use, it has fat low profile tires and adds tremendously to the stability of the tractor.
Our property is very hilly and steep and I have no problem getting around even with the FEL.
I would worry about towing 3000lbs on hills.
