Hi everyone

This forum has been great for getting answers on my kubota. I believe my clutch is on its last leg as adjusting the secondary clutch the bolts were almost all the way in before hitting the pressure plate. This would be a sign of clutch work on the horizon?

Also, we have only put about 600 hours over the past 15 years and this will be the 3rd clutch! This seams like it is wearing out too quickly. Most of those hours are mowing with a 6' finish mower or cutting with a 5' brush hog. Is there anything that would cause premature wear? I was reading about an issue with the throw out bearing/clutch fork not fully disengaging. Don't know if there is a service issue I may be overlooking And NO i am not riding the clutch.

I would pull it apart have the flywheel turned replace the pilot bearing, throw-out bearing, pressure plate and clutch disk, follow the WSM to the tee and set it up to factory specs and you should get way many more than 500hrs out of it.
