Hello to all! new member and looking for advice. I will keep it simple. Have been looking for 2 months and have decided the new L2501 is the tractor for me....IF it has the power I need. My dealer is really working hard for me on price. L2501HST w/fel and qa bucket, land pride 5ft rotary cutter and bradco pallet forks 18,105 delivered. Have test drove it on concrete but scared of real world performance. I will not buy a DPF unit at any price and I feel this is a great deal if it will perform the jobs I need..mowing a six acre hay field pushing snow and driveway maint. I have done my homework. More cubic inch than bigger hp models. This tells me Kubota is on to something or possibly underrating it to bypass the epa. that said if any owners can shed some light on what they think of the L2501 I would be grateful. 18000 is a lot for a unit I may regret buying. thank you!

I just bought an L2501DT last month and have been very happy with it. It mows very well and knocks down the tall overgrown stuff without having to work too hard. 4' tall Johnson grass with briar bushes mixed in, etc... I haven't made time to do any loader work with it yet, but I venture to say it will do well.

Thank you for your input....I have decided to go ahead and buy the L2501 as I am sure it will meet my needs just fine. Got a great price on it with lp5ft rotary cutter and bradco forks. Taking delivery tomorrow. Thx again for taking your time to offer some insight.
