L2501. Engine at higher revs

I am not sure if this is actually a problem or not. When I have the l2501 at max revs ...2400ish....I notice it tends to stumble and bog down under load...like it's running on 2 cyl and starved for fuel...I am aware the sweet spot is around 2200 but is this normal? I understand the engine was defined to meet emissions so perhaps that's the issue as well...or maybe my throttle should not allow it past 2300rpm? Appreciate your thoughts. At 2209 rpm and lower, it runs lime a champ. I am interested in the mod for boosting the most from the engine, n but it's still under warranty

You might call your dealer. Mine has no issues at WOT.

Could it be a degree of fuel starvation at that high speed? Maybe it needs a fuel filter.

I thought same--air and fuel filters are new...

Could be blockage at the tank outlet. Blow some air back through the line into the tank and see if that cures it for a bit.

If so next step would be to clean debris out of the tank…not always a fun job…

Also check the vent hole in the fuel tank cap.
