Drive the tractor onto the trailer, not back it on. That will give you more weight on the trailer axles.
I knew I had too much tongue weight by the feel of my truck (buckboard) but only 5 miles travel in town. I have an 18 foot trailer, no problem rolling it back some. Finding the sweet spot. But using the bucket to lift up the back is a great idea.

I did just order the rubber feet/pads for the rear stabilizers, floor mats coming this week also.
I want a hyd thumb also, so I will be watching. RWS thread when it shows up.
