Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and Orange Tractors! Just purchased a L245DT w/1200 loader and am in the process of servicing everything. I have the Operator's manual for both the tractor and loader but my loader has a pump attached to the front of the tractor and a Hydraulic tank and filter mounted on the loader. The loader manual does not show these parts. I would like to service the loader and would appreceiate any help, information or advice in locating a part # for the filter and procedure for changing fluid plus amount to put in the tank.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the reply. Napa has two common hydraulic spin-on filters, one of which should fit. One is a 10 micron, other is 30 micron filter. I guess I have to disconnect a line from the tank to drain it. Looks like there is an air breather on top where I can put new UDT in. How much is another question!!

If it is fully contained the loader, just eyeball with a flashlight down the filler. Keep it up just under 1/2 way up the loader post. Run your machine and if everything functions well, and your fluid level is good, you should be golden. Remember it is purely a reservoir for fluid, and unlike an engine or tranny, precise oil fill is not required.
