I have a L2250. The little guy has always been a beast. This last fall I was using it to pull a downed tree out of a road way as as soon as I started up an incline the tractor stopped moving. In the past, I had drug larger trees with no problem. The engine never bogged down and I didn't lose RPM's. I changed the transmission filters and checked for shavings and all were clean and also changed the fuel filters just in case. I had finished the job with my M4800 and then winter hit.

This spring when I started using it to mow between trees on the land it still had the same problem. The lower gears seem fine, but in the upper gears the tractor barely wants to move in Hi 3 and 4. The PTO seems to have no problem and the lift on the cutter pops it off the ground easily.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this or is having this problem. Is it a seal issue, or gear issue, or is it something else?
