L225 cracked head replacement

Hi new to OTT i bought a 1976 L225 with cracked head im going to replace with a new head ? is can i use the good parts from the old head ? 2 valves need replaced or should i just get all new parts ? also with a new head do i need to rebuild the lower end ?

VIC thanks for the reply what about the short block it has 3900+ hrs on the meter was told it was rebuilt about 1000 hrs ago i think it dropped a valve the reason it was rebuilt ? the engine was over heated from the guy i bought it from said it was low on oil about 2 1/2 qts the head cracked . I removed the head it was torn up on the center cyl like it dropped a valve ? no damage to pistons can starting spray do that if so why only one cyl or it dropped the valve 1000hrs ago and they just slapped it back together i dont want to spend more than the thing is worth i have about $1500 in it with out touching the pistons THANKS AGAIN.
