I am in the process of pricing a new L3200.

Putting feelers out to see if anyone out there might have an interest in a great condition L2000.

What I have is a barn-kept, mid 80's L2000 Kubota, 3cyl diesel, with Bushhog 1846QT Loader bought and installed new by me. Loader was factory powder coated to match Kubota ($2800 new) NO other implements would be included. Tractor has 1290 hours. I am the 2nd stateside owner (gray model), Previous owner used it only to cut grass with a 60" estate cutter. I myself have basically done the same. Though I do own other impliments that rarely if ever are used. I added the loader for moving mulch, sand and gravel (landscaping items) around our place. The loader has maybe 20-40 hours of total usage. I have owned the tractor since 2000 when it had 1010 hrs. Its been fully serviced every year, usually spring whether needed or not with an avg of about 15-40 hours of use between services.(oil-Delo 400 15w40,Oil Filter, fuel filter, air filter, and occasional valve clearance checks. Coolant every other year) Previous owner showed me records where he had did the same.

The only major service item was me rebuilding the water pump 1 year after aquiring due to a slight leak out of the pump weep Hole. At that time included all new hoses, alt belt, thermostat and rad cap. Hydraulic fluid was drained and refilled when I added the loader. Turf tires on rear with 70-75% tread. Both front 3-bar tires new within last two years. 2011 new battery and new headlamps. Original paint that still looks and waxes out great, but does have avg scratches due to 30 years of use.No leaks. Runs like new.

Pictures taken on 1/10/2012 can be seen here

AW MAN, I could have gone all damn day and not seen those pictures of your tractor. Its EXACTLY the size I need for my landscaping business. Maybe I need to sucker some fool into buying my B6100E. Only down fall to yours is I would need ag tires for dirt working.

Eric,

Thanks for the compliment. I do take care of my stuff, always have. The front tires are new, and considering its a 2wd, I woudn't want anything more agressive. They have handled what little dirt working I have done great, and if memeroy serves me are the heavier 8 ply. Now the turf on the rear is another story. If they were liquid filled would probably help, but then again I basically jsut cut grass with this rig. In doing the pricing on my intended new tractor, and checking for varios tires, I was told that and entire set of 4 tires and rims is about $1000. I would assume probably $600 would get a fellow a set of just rears mounted on new rims.

If an individual was serious about buying, and coming the distance that you would be coming, I could probably work the price a bit better.

based on my research and the price of the loader alone your probably right.....But when I get ready to sell something, I always try to set my price so its the best deal out there I would find if I were looking..I hate selling things and dealing with folks that are not serious, I would rather offer a fair price for both involved and get things gone....not like you find too many L2000's listed anyway.

But, nope....no bites yet. Of course it aint quite that time of the year when folks really look either. Still waiting to hear from the dealer ( the owner was out of town until next tuesday) as if they offer in the range I am asking, I'll probably let them have it vs having to deal with listing and dealing with buyers.

Fully understand the issue, been there many times myself. Aside from that, I hope someone takes your attitude in the near future. When the new one arrives a decision must be made. We all know where the new one is going to be parked (covered barn) I really dont have room for two, but no way I'm leaving this one out either. May finally be time to add that 3 bay pole barn.

Eric,

sorry about that.....but it went so fast I probably should have asked more....but then again, when I want things gone I want them gone.

As of today Ive had 10 parties call and interested. First caller wanted it sight unseen, as long as no surpise issues I was not divulging. I deliver in the morning for a fee. I have atleast 6 others wiating to see if the ad will still be out there friday night. I do hope its offloaded upstate and I come home with an empty trailer. I am not in the habit of doing such without cash up front, but buyer was very persistant.

Off to dealer on the way home to finalize deal on upcoming new replacement.

Oh I know.....

I remember when I bought it....I too had no way to get it and had to hire someone....I was working all weekend and could only accomodate someone after Dark. HIm being an elderly gent didnt want to drive 80 miles in the dark, I can understand that part.

He's called several times this week to make sure I'm still coming with it....as much as I hate taking risks like that, some times you gotta put some faith in your fellow man...The fact that he personally knew some people I also know in my town went in his favor as well.
