I have just purchased a Kubota L175.I was told the starter was out-so pulled it off and checked on the bench-works fine.Put back on-turn key nothing.Have replaced the battery and leads-still nothing. Then hot wired the starter-spins the engine over-More than enough to fire it.Remove the key switch-power in-nothing coming out-possibly a bad key switch.Took a look at the fuse panel-very corroded and needs the fuse-blades (if thats what they are called replaced). The clutch kill switch wiring has a wire that is lose and hanging down-but when you look at the switch it has the correct amount of wiring going to it-this also may be compromising the system as well. Not sure where the lose wire is supposed to go.
In searching the internet it becomes apparent that the elctrical system due to age are issues on these machines. So the thing I require is a full schematic on the wiring system-it is unavailable in the Kubota shop manuals.Any ideas?
Any idea's where you can get the replacement fuse blades? Not available from Mesicks or Jenning's in Puyallup Washington

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the orange tractor. :D :D

There are two extra wires hanging down from my clutch start safety switch with mine hooked up and working fine so don't think that all the wires have to be hooked up for that function. I haven't been curious what circuit they got to or run because all my wiring is working just fine.

The small start wire that runs form the switch to the solenoid has a VERY soft metal connector on it and at one time start issues were driving me crazy because all my checks were coming up fine but it still had start problems.   The soft metal connector on the end of that wire was not staying tight in good contact with the solenoid so I cut it off and crimped on a new female spade connector and I have had zero problems with my starting since.:)

I also removed my dash for some wiring modifications. An electronic temp guage is perfect for an L175. :D :D :D :D
