I attached my new Blue Diamond 36" brush cutter to my excavator, and although the unit seems to be operating properly, the arm (stick) does not seem to have enough power to lift the unit while it is running. The boom is better but also slower than without the brush cutter running. Am I doing something wrong? The brush cutter is snapped into the selectable hydraulic fittings mounted on each side of the arm. I have turned the square selector valve so that the thumb is not operational.
Once the mower is stopped by pressing the switch on the right joystick, the arm and boom resume normal operation.
Suggestions please? Hopefully, you won't tell me this brush cutter is incompatible with my excavator.

I'm not familiar with your controls on your unit, but on some models you have to change the output from low flow (for the thumb), to high flow for the motor drive.

I don't know much about any of this, but there are two models of your 36" brush cutter according to Blue Diamond's website.

103600 - 13 to 24 gpm
103610 - 29 to 36 gpm

Your KX033-4 has a max auxillary flow rate of 15.8 gpm, so is it possible that you have the 103610 model that needs more flow?
