i used my kubota a week ago and it was running fine, today the motor turns over but it wont start or even smoke out the exhaust like its getting no fuel. any ideas to start checking?
thanks im going to get a filter today but it was running great when i cut it off so im thinking something electrical. i checked the fuse panel and it didnt have a fuse for the pump or anything
I am attaching a trouble shooting page from the WSM.
Note the line item under "Engine does not Start," referring to the oil pressure switch. It is not yet clear to me what the involvement is in allowing the engine to start. Does your low oil pressure dash light go out while cranking the engine?
The WSM is a bit confusing as it covers all world countries.
The engine stop solenoid has two internal coils. One to pull the solenoid off and a second, lower power one, to hold the solenoid in the off position.
Get a simple 12 volt test light and check that the engine stop solenoid is seeing power when cranking.
