Kubota U-25 Fan Belt Access

Hey guys!

I am new here and haven’t seen much about mini excavators but I hope there is someone out there who can help! I have a U25 Super Series and just spent 2 hours today trying to access my fan belt to switch it out- currently it squeals somethin fierce

After taking the right side body panel off, removing pieces under the seat to access engine and fiddling around for hours I am convinced the belt can’t be replaced without pulling the radiator. This seems crazy to me as it is something that should be adjusted frequently...

If there are any fellow U25 owners out there and you have dealt with this before please advise!

I'm not familiar with the U-25. I do have several kx-71. On the 71, there is a panel on the right hand side behind the seat. It you remove it, you are looking at the alternator. I hope yours is similar. It's still a smaller access but makes it a lot easier.

Thanks for the response! There is a panel directly behind my seat that I thought would do the trick but it only allows access to the back side of the alternator.. I could not reach either bolt still.

Something that is supposed to be checked as often as a fan belt should be much easier. I would be tempted to cut out a bigger hole and fabricate a cover.
