Hello all, hoping for some insight ona problem I am experiencing.

Recently installed a LA852 Loader onto my Mx5000 tractor and cannot get the Front End Loader to operate correctly.

Loader control valve is brand new and seems to be doing everything correctly but it seems as if I have a pressure situation. If I start the tractor and operate the FEL I am able to dump/curl the bucket as well as raise it. However if I go to lower the loader it does not lower until I put it into the Float function and then it drops quick/erratically from the weight.

If I move my 3point position lever to just past the highest level (to where the pump starts to whine ) then I get my lowering function of my loader to work correctly but no other function will work while in this state.

what could this be ? Do I have a bad relief valve?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Top of my head sounds like it could be several things.
You could have either of the lift and dump line swapped so they are paired up wrong.
Or you have Power beyond line and the tank line swapped
Or you haven't turned the selector valve on the hydraulic block

I dont think its a factor for this situation, but I would adjust the position control just shy of the upper relief. It will cause issues being in that state.
If you have quick connects you can change the loader raise lower to curl dump and see if the function error follows.
