Anyone on here that has a U27-4? I'd like to find out what your experience has been with one. I'm getting quotes on a new one (U27-4R2) with a cab for trenching work (residential water/sewer lines) for a working depth of 3-7 feet. Kubota is my first choice primarily due to dealer network.

I'm really interested in a Kubota cabbed mini under 7K lbs. That really limits the models to choose from to the U27, KX71 and the new KX030 that just aren't here yet. Bucket widths for me would likely be 16", 24" and a grading bucket of approx 36".

Anyone with considerable experience running a U27 wish to opine? I'd like to hear from you.

Thanks.

Is there some particular reason you are only considering -4 models?

hmm. I thought that I had made that clear....

1) Kubota
2) Cabbed machine
3) 7K max machine weight- truck/trailer limitation

-3 machines don't meet those requirements?
Just asking.

I was asking if anyone on OTT has experience running a U27-4 and what they thought about it....that's all. I don't have any experience with one other than sitting on one and looking around at it critically...

I guess I'll just have to find out for myself. I should have it within a week or two.
