Before I start cutting hose and spilling fluid can anyone tell me what hose size valve I need to add a manual shut-off?

No, 1/2" (13mm) on the feed lines to the HX in the roof. Said that in the other thread too.

Thanks, do you have a preference on shutoffs or did you just use a brass valve with hose barbs?
