Has been cranking, starting and running great. Now, will not crank. Battery was in discharged condition. Attempted to boost but still would not crank. Noted no spark when connecting booster battery. Removed the battery and fully recharged. Have not reinstaled battery and it has held that charge for several days. I welcome suggestions as to what to do next.

Check all four ends of both battery cables for corrosion and clean all and clean chassis ground connection.

If battery discharges go looking for parasitic bleed by using voltmeter and pulling fuses one by one.

Check safety switches for open or bad.

Advise what you find and how you proceed so we may all learn.

Hey stubbyie, sorry so long getting back. Finaly found time to work on tractor. Followed your instructions and found the problem was a short in ignition wireing. I also found and corrected other potential electrical failures. Thanks again, your advice saved me a bundle in repair costs, if i had called for a service person.
