I've got a Kubota L2250. One of the lift arms is leaking out the side where the splined shaft comes out of the housing.

Does the whole housing have to be removed to replace the seals on the shaft or can it just be knocked out the side of the housing?

If the whole thing does have to be removed is there anything else I should check while I'm in there?

Thank you

No seals just bushings and O-rings, and yes you'll have to pull the top off to do it right.
You'll need to pull the rock shaft out and check the condition of the bushings because if they are worn you will not get the O-ring to seal.
Nothing else really to do in there.
Keep it clean, clean off the cover completely before you open it up or you'll get crud in the differential and hydraulic oil.

Hello
The first thing I would check is the vent . If the vent is plugged up it would push oil out this area as well as around the shift levers. It is an usual to see oil leaking from this area.
Good Luck Lance
