Has anyone upgraded the seat suspension on the B2601 to a true suspension seat? After 5 hours of operation on my brand new machine, my back is killing me. I know the B2650 comes with a suspension seat from the factory. Anyone tried that? Maybe one of those compact suspension upgrades people add to zero turns? Seems ludicrous to spend this type of money on a tractor and get a hinge with 2 springs for a seat.

I'd like to maintain the factory seat itself, which is fine, but upgrade the suspension underneath.

Lol! I know what you mean. I use a gel seat pad and it makes it a little better. I’ll be looking for some kind of seat upgrade soon,

You may need to adjust the suspension so it doesn’t bottom out easily. I am not sure how your seat is supported but see if your manual talks about it

On the B2601 - at least mine - the seat suspension is not adjustable - it’s just springs.
I don’t like it, too stiff for me, I’m only 165 lbs so maybe I’m not heavy enough.

this is my one sort of complaint so far about my B - a nicer suspension seat and a seat that is grey not black would have been better.

K&M makes a nice low profile suspension that will bolt on as they are all now made to an ISO standard mount pattern.

If it's like the 2650, when you add the swivel mechanism, you loose the suspension function. It also tilts the seat forward a bit which I didn't like. I opted to keep the comfy seat as is and bought a separate backhoe seat.

This is 100% true and it is awful in my opinion. This is a huge low point on the B2601 IMO.

I wish I would have asked the dealer to send my original seat parts with the tractor after the backhoe install so I could switch back.

On my B2601 with the backhoe and swivel seat, It still has the spring suspension. I am 160 lbs and still found that the springs would fully compress when sat on, this left the only cusion was the hard rubber stops. I found some springs that were the same size but had a stiffer rate, now the seat only bottoms out when I hit a larger then normal bump. I may try to locate some softer rubber stops to help a little more.

I would almost bet that any one that has a less than comfortable ride on the 2601 , my self included , is running the R4's. I still say 40psi i those tires is way to much, but thats what it calls for. Now I wonder if a some old valve springs might help ,,,hummm

Having this issue on my B1700 and B3200. Lowered the air pressure on the 1700 and it helps but my spine compresses more than those seat springs. I like the look of that low profile suspension system. Anyone try it yet?
