Kubota b 2620 question

My 2620 came today with the 60" mmm off until spring. I have a back hoe on it now with a fel. There is a bracket that is hanging down under the tractor which I'm assuming the mmm mounts to. I cannot get that to raise with the 3pt. The guy that delivered it said it had to be raised manually. After messing with it I got it to stay up by pushing it up and turning the knob for the mowing height. Is there something I'm missing. To me it seems that should raise up with the 3pt. Lever. I'm new to all this so the help is greatly appreciated.

The arms on my B2620 go up and down with the 3pt hitch lever. They are locked in the up position with the knob. I do not have a backhoe so I can't tell you how it acts with the backhoe attached. Is it possible that the 3pt hitch lift is disconnected when the backhoe is attached?

Very well could be. I truly am green (no pun intended) when it comes to tractors and how they work. I guess we all start somewhere. Hopefully someone can tell me for sure. Thanks for your input.

I have a 2620 with bh, without mmm. There is a locking tab with thumbscrew securing the 3 pt in a neutral position when the bh is mounted. 3 pt arms may strike bh pan if extended.
