I recently retrofitted a 7100 hst smc q60 loader on to my older manual 7100 as the motor is bad on the hst. Off of the hydraulic pump on the side of the motor is a hard line that connects to an aluminum/steel block with two hydraulic ports. What exactly does this do. I saw a post before where a guy was making them. I have a cnc , if its something simple I could technically make one. The only other option would be to use the selector lever under the seat

Provides pressure out to aux valve and pressure return to tractor. Trivial to make.

According to the bottom drawing , the inlet connects to the hydraulic port on the right . But doesn’t share flow with the port on the left . So the inlet flow
the inlet doesn’t connect to bother hydraulic ports ? It looks like it comes in from the inlet and out the hydraulic line on the right ?

Your tractor has an open center hydraulic system. The flow comes out the port on the pump end of the block, goes through the center of the external (loader) valve, and then returns to the rear end of the block where it continues to the 3pt lift.

By the looks of it you could technically drill two holes , come in from the side to meet the holes and just tap for a jic fitting . Why do they split it in half

Its two pieces because when there is no loader the top piece connects pump to 3pt. When a loader is added top piece is replaced with one that redirects flow out to loader valve and then back. Study the drawing and descriptions I posted.

These are made from 1x2 aluminum bar. The ports are SAE-6. They have 3 sets of ports for "unversal" fitment but in retrospect I think that is overkill. Easir and cheaper to make three different versions with one set of ports.

I have a 93 hst that’s missing the entire oil line off off of the hydraulic pump , I’ll either have to bend some pipe … or just make some custom hoses

Man you jump around. Previous post I thought you said you were going to make some blocks.

If you dont have the steel line just get or make a banjo fitting for the pump and run a hose to the loader valve. Same for the return line to the 3pt.

So I know I’m sorry, so I purchase a 7100d and a newer 7100hst with a smc q60 loader. I took the oil line with the block off the hst and modified it to fit the older 7100, which required me to shorten and tig weld the oem line. Now that I understand exactly how this operates I see How simple it would be to use hoses to make it work. I still plan on making the blocks , I’d like to keep the tractor as original as possible

OK - I got the part about modifying the line off the HST. So why would you make/need a block if you have retrofit the steel line and block from the HST to the gear drive tractor??
