Hi fellows- Got a quick one for you. Does my 7100 have an adjustment on the speed of the lift system? Mine almost jumps up and drops like a rock.thax in advance,Bill

Try adjusting that knob beneath/behind your knees (under the seat). It controls the 3-point drop speed.

A B7100 does not have the knob to control the drop speed in the position that we are all accustom to finding it. Instead of a knob to turn, it is a bolt head on the top of the differential case under the seat. If I remember correctly it is on the left side (as viewed sitting in the seat) . I will try to find a picture.

Look at post 11 on this thread B7100

that should be it under the red highlight. Under the seat right hand side. There should be a jam nut just under the head of the bolt to hold it in position after you adjust it.

After looking at Bill's post I guess I did not recall the correct side that the drop speed adjustment is on.

Well guys, as usual- you did good. I found that bolt w/locking nut to the right side under the seat- gave her a slight turn in, saw that was my problem. Thax again for the help. Guess I may need an operators manual, haha
