I've got a B2650 with the SSQA bucket on the FEL. I'm wanting to mount a receiver hitch on the bucket and was looking at Ken's Bolt On receiver hitch. Has anyone used the receiver Bolt On from Ken on their tractor? I don't know if it will fit at the top.

Gotcha. I figured it would be best to go to the horse, and you did. Hopefully someone here has some experience.

If you mount it to the top of the bucket it might be too high if you're planning to use it to move trailers.

I have no personal experience but Titan Attachments makes one that clamps to the front edge of the bucket.

If you're only using the receiver occasionally why not drill a couple of holes in the lower part of the bucket, mount the receiver only when needed?

I actually had one of those, but sent it back. I tried it a couple times and it worked, but I got concerned that I was only picking up weight on one of the SSQA plates. I was concerned that they would get out of alignment.

I found this yesterday, so I ordered it. Once I get it, I'm going to see where I can mount some of Ken's Bolt On Hooks and Clevis. To be honest, I wasn't looking forward to drilling holes in my bucket.

That looks great, hard to believe you can get it for $189 and free shipping included.....look forward to seeing what you think of it.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. It'll be a little lighter than the bucket, so that helps with being able to pick up a little bit heavier stuff. Plus the hooks will be closer to the lift points than they would be on the bucket.

Too bad they don't make one for a LA243 loader, if they did I'd have to get one for that price. Keep us informed.

You have a QA bucket and FEL you can remove easily, why not mount the receiver to the front tractor frame vs bucket? Even leaving the bucket and fel attached to the tractor you could raise it high enough to use the frame mounted receiver for empty trailer moving etc.

Because with the receiver attached to the FEL, I can drop it low enough to get under the coupler on the trailer, put the ball in to the coupler, then lift the trailer just enough so the jack clears the ground. You never have to get off the seat of the tractor.

There's a fine line between laziness and convenience. This rides that line. :D

But with the ball on the FEL, will you be able to see it from the seat? Even if you can see the bucket, you can't see through the bucket with a hitch with a large drop in it.
