The seals on my ancient but good K42 rototiller disintegrated. DH is reluctanct mechanic, and put it back together telling me to buy a new one or put hydraulic fluid in every time I use it. Nether option is acceptable to me. I have the parts manual, but Kubota no longer provides the parts.
DH is reluctant to take it apart and try to figure out which measurements to take to get a replacement seal (have a local place that can match most things). Can/will someone please either tell me current brands/numbers for seals (all of them, but especially the big one) that will work, or do you happen to have one apart and can provide the appropriate measurements?
Have called the tractor place to come get and take apart to determine the seals, but it has been three weeks and I haven't risen to the top of their list yet, and I NEED the tiller.
