I just bought an L3800 ag with front loader and backhoe for $31.5k out the door. It's a 2014. I felt like I pushed all I could on the price. It also includes sealed tires with water, and a top for it with insulation. Not an enclosure, but a cover over the seat. How did I do on my buy?!?!? I'm second guessing myself now.

Congrats on a fine machine!

I don't know how much a backhoe adds, but the L3800 runs right around 20k these days

I've done a lot of reading here to catch up on Kubota knowledge. Thanks for the responses so far. And this is a new tractor. I'm waiting on the install of the backhoe right now. Then pics.

I've learned a lot by searching and checking out threads. I've got a very neglected B2400 back into great running shape and used it probably beyond it's intended use at our ranch.

Congrats! I have the same tractor with the FEL and backhoe. I know you will love it.
Whatever the price it doesn't change the great machine you have sitting in your yard.

Congratulations!

I have the same set up of the 2012 variety. You'll enjoy it. Quit second guessing yourself. It felt good when you bought it so that should be enough.

Cheers.

I'm really excited about this one. I've used the heck out of the B2400. I still love it and will continue to use it. I'm actually so excited about picking this tractor up that I'm having trouble sleeping and focusing on work! Main use for several years will be to clear some company property and clear a fallen tower. Ice took it down around Thanksgiving. 500 ft tower into a nice pile of twisted steal and cable. It also landed on our building, so I've got work to do. Secondary use will be for our ranch. Maintaining roads and senderos. Digging a drainage ditch that diverts water past our well. And clearing then building a helipad. This thing will be used hard.

I just got a new 2013 L3800HST with a quick attach loader and bucket, fluid in rear tires, and a block heater and it was $22,343. I only had it since Monday, and it is cold as hell right now, so I havent gotten to play with it to much yet. Just some minor snow moving and I have a feeling I will get alot of use from it. I also had rear remotes added on, a 72" box scraper, 66" tiller and a 72" power rake, all Land Pride. I went through the same stuff for almost a week before it was delivered as you mentioned, thinking about the tractor alot, not sleeping to well, etc. :)

I hear ya Rob! I dove into work for about 10 hours today trying to keep my mind off of it. Didn't work. Delivery will be next Tuesday or Wednesday. I gotta do a 12 hour round trip to our property out by Big Spring to get our equipment hauler 5th wheel trailer first. Gonna do that this weekend.

Well I take delivery tomorrow. Went to our property by Big Spring Texas to pick up our equipment hauler and discovered some bad news. We had been stole blind there. Our buildings and travel trailer were broken into, all of our stock steel and cabling were gone, detroit diesel water pump gone, and someone stole the fold down ramps off of our hauler. They even cut the cable off of the hauler so I had to wire in one temporarily to have brakes and lights to bring it home. Probably $250K worth of theft and damage. Made the report to the Sheriffs Office. Now I need to figure out how to load the tractor without the ramps. Any ideas? I can't just use regular ramps with the lip on top because of the tabs welded on back for the fold on ramps that were stolen.

I feel for your loss. The problem is that nothing you can say or do would make the jerks that stole from you feel the least bit bad. They feel it is their god given right to take whatever they can carry away. And then have bragging rights, to boot.
Enjoy your tractor. But don't leave it up there.
