Why sheathing if you will have metal on sides? Or is metal just above the sheathing?

In Texas the metal panels are usually just screwed to the horizontal “purlins”.

For additional strength/rigidity and to reduce condensation problems inside. We do get quite a bit of snow here.

So shop is still moving along, siding going up, but this is about as far as they can go until concrete poured. Concrete guys show up next week. I’m not doing radiant heat. Already $5k over budget.

Have you successfully used your 10K for a 3/4 ton diesel? Mine weighs 8K but I wonder if there’s more than 5k on the front
Yes, all the time. No problem at all.

I drive an 06 Ram 2500 with the Cummins, extended cab, with a 108 gallon fuel tank (38 from factory+70 in the bed).

The only problem I have run into was length of the vehicle, but thats a "shop problem", not a "hoist problem.

My SIL has a full 4-door, 1 ton, long bed dually, gasser, with tons of crap in the bed.

The hoist has no problem with it weight wise, but I can't close the door without taking the hitch off, or work from the front since it almost touches both ends of the shop.
