J310XX Wearing Out

I have a BX2360 that I use primarily for mowing. I've had to replace the LH rear lift link ( K2581-44210 ) a couple of times. The bolt on the rear of this part rests against J310XX, which lifts the deck. J310XX is wearing out at this contact point; probably from too much vibration/bouncing. Having kids help mow is great, but they sometimes are in a hurry

At some point I anticipate needing to replace J310XX. However, I can't find that in parts lists. Is it available? Is it feasible to replace without going to the dealer? Or any suggestions on repairing this area to stave off a failure (perhaps building it up with a welder)?

can’t help with the replacement, but can help you navigate the parts manuals (I think).

The part you refer to as J310XX isn’t the part number.

It’s referring you to section J31000 in the parts manual.
