Already looked in the manual and came up blank...2020 M5660 rear remote couplers. It appears by inspection that they are the ISO 5675 with poppet, not ball. The dust door says Faster on it but I didn't see anything stamped on the body that said 5675. I need to purchase a pair of the male halves for a cylinder and want to confirm by consensus that these (ISO 5675) will work. Also, when I peer into the coupler, I can see the little tit on the poppet. Do the ball style have a ball on both the male and female halves? Or will the ball and poppet males work interchangeably?

I spoke too quickly. After a little research it seems Faster agricultural couplers are ISO 7241. Series A. The 1/2" couplers in that standard interchange with 1/2" ISO 5675 couplers Other sizes do not. What is teh part number stamped on the body of the coupler?

I have a mix of the poppet and ball style male tips. And a mix of brands, whatever the mail order or local supply has at the time I need them. They all seem to work just fine.
The poppet style may be slightly easier to relieve pressure buildup (heat from the sun?) by a tap on something nearby that don't Mind an oil bath.

I'll have to try and get the numbers off the female couplers on the tractor...might have to spin one off in order to get that information.

After looking at the Faster catalog its quite clear they do NOT make anything that is ISO 5675. Their agricultural coupler line is strictly ISO 7241-A. The 1/2" couplers in that series will interchange half for half with ISO 5675. My bet is that is what Kubota is using on the M series.

**UPDATE** I spun the coupler off the tractor and it appears that it is at least a 3 piece assembly consisting of the following, starting with the end that threads into the tractor manifold:

Faster 74/38G-19H1 tractor adapter
3CFPV-4SFPV-19H0 midsection
19H female socket
and ending with the spring loaded cover.

I looked at the online Faster Ag catalog and it appears to be the 3CFPV which makes it an ISO 7241-A I believe.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Dan!

I just ordered 2 of the 3CFPV couplers and dust caps earlier today.

Here is a heads up. I just got off the phone and Faster has discontinued the 3CFPV. I noticed it was missing from their current catalog and the two I ordered are no longer available. Distributor says this was a joint decision involving Faster, JD, Kubota, and a few other OEMs that had been using that coupler.

Did they say what the replacement would be?
We did not have an extended conversation on the matter. Just looking at the current catalog the CFPV is basically the same coupler but does not allow connection under pressure. The 3CFHF is also similar, does allow connection under pressure, and has a higher flow rating but does not have as many port mounting options. The distributor also said a significant number of the 3CFHF port thread options are currently unavailable for order from Faster.

Hmmmm. So the ISO 7241-A isn't going anywhere, just that Faster is no longer making the 3-CFPV coupler. That shouldn't really be a problem as there are many other suppliers such as Summit and Parker that still make couplers that conform to ISO 7241-A and worst case scenario I/we could simply switch to an ISO 5675 or a flat face or whatever as long as it fits the ports on the tractor itself....right?

ISO 7241 is a decades long standing international standard that is going nowhere. Like most such standards it gets reviewed and revised on a periodic basis. Same for ISO 5675 which I believe is technically a companion standard to ISO 7241. The two committees work in conjunction with each other.

Faster has simply discontinued one of their specific models. The only issue going forward is finding a coupler that will mount in place of the 3CFPV. That should not be too difficult as long as the OEM has not squeezed it into a custom built structure. On the M series they screw into the port on the valve. and just about anything could be adapted to that mounting scheme.
