Is this a shear pin on my PTO shaft?

I just picked up a new to me Woods finish mower. I will be using it to mow pasture every once in a while. So definitely not bush hogging but could run into the occasional jamming detritus. I am looking to make sure that it has shear pins. (The only other shaft I have has a slip clutch, so I don't really have any experience with these yet.) I googled shear pins and most of them look like bolts made of soft metal. I don't see anything like that, but I do see a hollow pin that connects the shaft to the u-joint. It looks to me that this pin is more about keeping the shaft IN the U-joint, not preventing it from slipping, but IDK. Is this a shear pin or does this PTO shaft not have a shear pin. Pics attached.

Thanks!

Those are split pins or roll pins.
They secure the u-joint to the pto shaft.
Shear pin will be next to the mowers gear box.

As mentioned above that is a 'Roll Pin'.

Finish mowers don't really need a shear pin or clutch arrangement.

The blades are belt driven so IF you hit something immoveable the belt will simply slip. Belt tension is via a spring and tensioner pulley.

I know those are NOT shear pins.

I assume that both ends of that PTO shaft have yokes that attach to a splined shaft. While there are some shear bolt connections for splined shaft they look nothing like what you show.

That style usually looks something like this. The bolt (highlighted in red) is what gets sheared. There are ball bearings between the two halves that keep them together but allow the front half to rotate. That is what I have on my tiller.

Thanks, I hadn't thought it all the way through. Yep this is definitely belt driven, so there is my "slip clutch"

My Finish Mower has both…. belt-driven blades…and a shear-bolt such as shown above by Russell.
