Hi, I've been lurking of the forum for a few months now but haven't gotten around to posting anything yet.

I'm fairly new to tractors and bought my first one at the beginning of the year, a L3010 which I love.

The tractor has been great but I keep finding myself needing a front end loader. Is this something I can buy new or do I need to find a used one somewhere? What options are there for my tractor?

Thanks

I didn't lurk I just dove right in:) You'll get answers from people with more experience than mine but; you'll probably have to buy new. With small acreage it's probably the most used, i.e. no one gets rid of them.

Welcome to the Orange Grove!

Yes, most likely you will have to buy a new one. Nickelplated5s is correct. Nobody gets rid of them. They are too useful.

Good luck and check a lot of dealers. Get hookup included if you go new from a dealer.

Used is a very tough market!
While there are many different loader that will work you also have to consider you will also need mounting brackets, valve, and hose kits.
The FEL new will give you sticker shock, about 5K for that size of tractor.
Kubota probably won't be able to get you a LA481 loader, they usually quit making new FEL's within a few years of tractor model production end.

I have the Woods 1016 FEL on my L3450 and it works perfectly!
Models of woods that would fit your tractor would be 1012, 1016, LS96R, LS96.

Thanks so much for the responses. I guess new is the way to go. Can you tell me what the differences are between the 1012, 1016, LS96R, and LS96?

There is a whole lot of difference, too much to explain, call a woods dealer and they can explain it all, they might not even sell the 1012 or the 1016 model any longer, they are older.

Woods and Bush Hog run line in line, they are similar quality and similar design, and they are both USA made.
