photos of a belly mower which looks to be home made or very much modified/repaired. Its on a '49 Case VAC (Year newer than the VAC I had). Looks like it could have started out life as a Woods mower? I know it isn't a SunMaster, like I had on my '48 VAC. Can't say I've ever seen a PTO to belt transition quite like that.
Looks like the tractor was converted to 12V (although I will never know why. they are one of the easiest starting tractors I've ever used). for a '49, I'm surprised it doesn't have the eagle hitch. That was the first year for it on the VAC. Tractor is pretty beat up. Does make me miss mine..........until it is mowing time. I sure like that live power and POWER STEERING.
