Well I just got done getting the l2850 back together after replacing lots of stuff. New clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, rear main seal, input shaft seal, pto shaft seal etc. she ran good with no leaks for about an hour around the farm. Went out to put on the spreader and saw a puddle of the really expensive UDT on the floor. I originally split her for a leaking seal trashing the clutch pack. I replaced everything I could find to replace. It looks like it is leaking from the housing that holds the input shaft pilot bearing. While peaking through the vent tube hole I can see a drip at the bottom of the housing. I think I pinched the oring that goes between the housing cover and the two pto shaft bearings. My question is has anybody pulled the cover off and found a place to hold the oring? There is no groove on the housing. When I pulled the cover off the oring was stuck on the bearing. The tractor is a l2850dt with double clutch.
Thanks
Jason
