I’d like to verify that my injectors are timed correctly on my L2850 and the service manual mentions a timing mark in the “gear case window” . I’ve looked all over and I can’t seem to find this “window”. Anyone know where to look?

Remove this vent pipe to see the side of the flywheel.

Unless you or someone else has removed the injection pump and left shims out or added shims the timing will not be wrong.
It's not like it can stretch a timing chain or move a distributor to change the timing, they are spot on for life.

Thanks Wolfman. Just want to check since I’m at least the third owner and at least 2 other dealers have worked on it.
