Bought my first ever tractor this afternoon. It's a new BX25D. I got it with the belly mower, Land Pride Brush mower and 3 point hitch. I'm so excited. It will be delivered within the next hour. Land Pride and hitch are on order and will come next week. I've already ordered the Piranha Tooth Bar and thumb for the back hoe. I'm scared to death about drilling the holes for the tooth bar, one chance to do it. Might get the dealer to install it when they bring out the Brush mower. Again I'm so excited. 58 years young and my first tractor. I've got 27 acres to practice on.

Exact set up I got without the brush hog. You will be pleased. This is a great site with lots of good info. The BX25 is so popular, I'm surprised they don't have a site of their own.

Congrats,

I too was leary to drill hole when I go my NEW BX25 last year, now I have more holes than swiss cheese!
Seriously - the toothbar - drill a small hole where the template says, then drill bigger....I think it is a 3/4" hole. I had to go and buy a 3/4" bit.

You will be mad at yourself AFTER you get some seat time, that you didnt get it a lot soooooner !!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Ask questions, lots of BX's here !

Took "Booty" for a little spin today. We pushed and pile up the burn pile and set it ablaze. Road around one of the pastures for awhile also. Used the backhoe to dig out some good size China Berry trees. I hate China Berry trees. My piranha bar is on it's way. Mid next week my Rotary Cutter will be delivered along with pallet forks from BXspand. The dealer is sending a service guy out with the cutter to explain and help me learn all the basics. He is going to put on the piranha bar (no charge, it great). I'm just to afraid to drill the holes. So here is "Booty". I know she does not exist if there are no pictures.

See your doing it all wrong!
First keep the first one around when you get the second one, they love the company, frees up more time for you to "work" with your tractor.
Second you don't sell the old wife you just do a little gun trading, take your 44 and trade it in on a pair of 22's. :D

Keep the wife ;) and buy another tractor:D:D:D
Ok,ok.... (wife #2 and #2 kubota) seems like a matching pair!

bought the B7100 - have not even had a chance to look it over good....rain has me inside!!!

tomorrow I will check it out , seems like a very well kept tractor, dates to a 1992 model (serial 67xxx) - with, check this <700 hours on it. Had to take deck off to get it on the trailer - while off I will check blades and zerks.

Downloaded the manuals .......

It has got more levers on it than I can count! :D HST model with 4wd - turfs.
No rops.......

as for the wife, she asked how much , i lied - said 3k really it was 3.5k ......hell what is 500 bucks.....

oh yeah - she MADE me go into some "other" stores.......shoot - $150 later......and pocket lighter.....but I will keep em both.

great day !!! You 7100 tell me good things about this o' girl!

Thats a nice looking ride :D your gonna need a bigger shed :) you'll have to remember to clean the screen by the fuel shut off when you service it. All and all a good buy i think :) now you can put one of the boys out there to help ya;)
