Hi all! :D

I joined up because I have some questions about some hydraulic hoses on a LA350A FEL.
Here's the skinny, I'm borrowing by brother in laws B2150 with a FEL and Gill rake to move some rocks and use to put in our lawn. Well, he used it last week and said it needs a new hose, ok, I'm using your machine I will get a new hose for ya. Today I go to the dealership (@ 4:30) and they make up a new hose (off the FEL control valve going to steel line on the arm), great! fire it up and one of the lower lines starts spewing fluid...... not great. I left it there overnight... Manager calls me up later and says the lower line has "banjo" fittings and needs to be ordered:confused: they can't make them there and he will have to see when he can get it..
Just double checking to see if this sounds right? and any idea's on the price of that hose? So now what was a $65 fix could turn into a new hose here, here, here, and possibly there, lol!
I havn't talked to my BIL yet about it, but the thing has sat outside for a lil bit  so hopefully they don't keep blowing out..
Thanks,
Tom

Is the banjo hose leaking around the banjo or in the middle of the line? If you need it pronto and the break is in the middle of the line, find a hydraulic shop or someplace like NAPA that makes lines, or the dealer and have them cut the line and put two fittings where the break is, like a splice. Also might need new banjo washers/gaskets.

Well the dealer was able to locate some fittings and put them on today.
If I had more time to monkey with it I would have liked to put banjo adapters to a normal JIC fitting and not have to deal with this again.
I get that it's a 20 yr old machine, but do the newer tractors still have these on them? And not knocking my dealer ( I think they absolutely did the best they could, especially in the short time frame!) but why doesn't Kubota make sure all dealers have these adapters or fittings ready to put on hoses readily available?
I called a JD dealer and they kinda laughed and said Kubota is the only one out there that uses them "old fittings"...
rant over.
