I just picked up a used B2710 with 550 hours on it, the fluids were all done 40 hours ago and the trany oil level is about 2 inches above the full mark, is it a problem to run it over full? My workshop manual is in the mail.

Thanks Vince

That's what I was thinking since the fluid is so new, thanks for the advice, I appreciate the help. This could be a messy one, I can just see me dropping the drain plug down my sleeve or something......LOL.

I had the same experience when I bought my 2710,last summer. It had just turned 400 hrs. and had been serviced by a local Kubota dealer a few hours earlier.I went over everything before working with it and the hst fuid level was at the TOP of the stick ! I backed it out of the shed and let it warm up ,shut it down and checked it again. Same reading ! So I drained enough to get the level right...around 6 quatrs. I don't think they got all of the drain plugs, then dumped 4 full gallons in it. Next spring I will drain it ALL and do it right myself !

I went ahead and changed the fluid and filters, it was probably a waste of money but now I know it's correct. I haven't used it in a few weeks but plan to move some snow piles with it tomorrow.
