Has anyone used HydrauLink top link?

Here is a web site http://hydraulink.net/index.htm

It sounds great for us BX owners as we can't get a "normal" hydraulic top link.

What do my fellow Orange blooded owners think?

I saw those on the Surplus center site last week. I suppose they are a dealer.
$219 not cheap tho.

13 months on , and I'm looking into this .................

I found a guy who bought one and reckons the "cushion-effect" is
one and a half inches (36mm) on shaft movement . Now , this is fine for
rear-supported stuff like mower/slasher decks , but what about carry-alls and
equipment that you don't want moving of its own accord ; ploughs etc are
going to buck up and down in the ground. This equipment isn't sold with a spring-movement
, but it's going to have that effect with a shock-absorber
used as a top bar . What do you think ?
That sort of top-bar variation is a bit much ? One even wonders if it's
more to do with protecting the device from damage , than anything else .....

PS If you use Pat's ezy hitch ( which adds about 3 to 4 " to the arm lengths ) then the 19" minimum
length of this product will fit the top. If you use standard BX , then it will probably be too long ....................

They are not very popular because on most implements they give you sloppy control of the angle. Yes they work great as a shock when running a tiller in hard ground, but most all other implements are impeded by the in and out motion of the top link, apposed to a solid top link design. Spend a little more money and get a true hydraulic top link and to a tilt too while your at it.

Installed a hydraulic top link on my 640 F***. Don't know how managed before it.
Mine is the positioning type, doesn't float, check valves on both ends.
It really comes in handy when using a box blade, scraper, boom or shredder. Come to think of it's really handy on any attachment I use.

I bought it from Surplus sales.
