For the first time a week ago I installed the complete 3 point system after removing the backhoe. I have a 2020 MX5200 HST that is now at 590 hours (bought used last January at 520 hrs). I probably used it 2.5 hours since I removed the backhoe and attached the 950 lbs ballast to the 3 pt.

A week later, after moving the tractor, I realized there was a dark spot (10" diameter) suggesting an oil leak. After using it yesterday, I realized similar spots where I lowered/lifted the 3pt ballast and some drips in random spots (maybe associated with using FEL).

The drip seems to come from about in between the seat and the steering wheel. It is pretty hot and humid right now to crawl underneath the tractor.

1. What would be the logical troubleshooting steps (besides visually tracing the leak)? I don't want a hose to break and spill oil all over, so I'm a bit reluctant to apply pressure...

2. What part of the 3 pt system could first time operation (to me) reveal a leak after 70 hours of FEL and backhoe use without a single drop of oil leak?

Merci,
e

Had 10 minutes to go look around over lunch and traced the leak to where the rigid lines for the added rear remotes connect to the tractor. Next step is to understand exactly what's leaking. Now I know it's not a hose.

This was a MX5100 at work. Pinhole in the return line. Trying to wiggle it out broke it. Luckily the other end came out without much fight.

I did remove the tire and fender, much more room if things go south.

Few o rings and new pipe all is well.

Even had a little helper.
