Hydraulic top link shuddering/chattering

When I retract my top link....in getting a chatter.
No other cylinders have an issue, only retracting too.
New fluid, new filters, and filter screen clean. Loader, 3pt hitch and tilt cylinder all work fine.


Is it the pilot operated check valve?

Any other ideas?

Yes, I think so. It's because the retracting speed is far to high.
That builds up pressure in the other side of the cylinder because the oil can't flow out quick enough.
So the checkvalve always closes and opens again rapidly.

What is usually done to slow that down? An orifice?
