New B2601 w/BH70 Back Hoe, thinking of adding a thumb but would like hydraulic vs. manual. Has anyone ever done this on this model? Arm has mount for thumb on it already

Look for "Paul Short" on You Tube, from Newfoundland, he has done one and does mods to his Kubota's, excellent videos.

I bought my BH76 with a manual thumb and very quickly realized that was a pain. Plumbed the rear remotes myself and added a hydraulic ram...works great.
Don't even bother to add thumb unless you get hydro...they are fairly easy to install...and I use mine all the time. Worth every penny....
Not a great photo...but you can see the hydraulic lines...and ram.
