My dad has a B2410 and today right after he gave hay to the horses the hydraulics on the tractor dropped and they wont raise up at all. My dad, being the impatient man he is, got mad and parked it, I was just wondering if I could do something, that can be done at the house (we have no way of hauling it to the shop), that would get the hydraulics to work again? Any and all help with this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about the front loader or rear 3 point hitch, or something else? Does the steering, hitch or loader work at all? Does the tractor drive okay? Any unusual noises?
Whoops, I guess I for got to put that info.
It's the hydraulics for the 3pt. hitch and for the belly mower.
The steering works the same as it did before, and we don't have a loader with this tractor. It drove fine when my dad parked it, and there are no unusual noises that I'm aware of, but I'll have to double check.

Had a similiar problem on my B7510...snap ring had come off the large splined shaft that both lift arms attach to, splined shaft had shifted towards the side (rear tire), busted the cast housing of the lift control valve inside transmission rendering lift control inop???
That doesn't sound good.
I'll have to look at it, and see if it looks off.

I have found the problem. a piece inside where the two lift arms for the 3pt hitch connect (not exactly sure what it's called, so I'm adding a picture) has broken. It was found only after taking the yellow cap off. Thanks for the help.

Okay, so turns out that 'broken part' was a plate and it was fine. The problem, or problems were 4 worn out O-rings (I circled the area they are in, in case if anybody has the same problem and doesn't know where to look). only cost us 2 dollars and a few man hours to replace them, and the hydraulics work better then before!
I'll have to look at it, and see if it looks off.
