Hydraulic Mystery

I have a Kubota L2402DT (gray market), diesel 28 hp tractor w/loader.
Generally works great. That was until last week...started the tractor as per usual, went to raise the bucket..no lift. I tried the 3pt, no go. I gave the engine a shot of fuel and all hydraulics came to life.
All functions are run off one hydraulic pump.
Over the last 8 hrs of work the problem has repeated itself 3-4 times, sometimes right in the middle of a job.
This AM I can not lift the bucket or 3pt hitch.
I have slightly opened a fitting on one of the hoses to check for fluid flow, and yes it is moving, and appears to be under some preasure.
I have by-passed the front end loader, to check if 3pt works-no go.
I have traced the lines looking for an inline filter, before and after the main filter,(main filter changed a month ago), again no luck.
I have taken the pump out and dis-assembled...all looks really good. I could not see any signs of wear. When turned by hand it pumps fluid.
I'm stuck...maybe a hidden filter I can't see??
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing there is a hydraulic suction filter all plugged up.
How many hours on your tractor?

1250 hr.
Just got service book in the mail today.
I'll take a look for the suction filter..is it in the transmission?

You indicated that the main filter was changed a month ago and that your problem has developed within this last week, Is it possible you have used the wrong filter?

It is possible the filter is wrong.
I purchased the machine used, not that long ago and the filter on it was a john deere filter.
Took it into Napa Auto parts and they matched up a filter that threaded on but was slightly smaller in size....not much but a little.
I never saw an original to compare it to.
Because of the month of running w/no problem, I didn't consider that.
Just received the parts book yesterday, I'll order a Kubota filter just to make sure

Hey meanjean.
Service book does not show any other filter for the hydraulics other than the one at the pump.
Emailed a dealer in Australia that actively sells the L2402DT, asked about hydraulic filters, they answered that that model only has the one filter, at the pump.
I think I'm going to be changing filters quite regularly.
