Just trying to figure out what size hydraulic hose I need to run our hydraulic power angle plow blade we are hooking up on the FEL. The hydraulic lines on the loader look to be 3/8" which should supply enough flow for the 2 cylinders. We are going to run 2 new lines from the rear remotes to the front blade so we will still have full function of the loader and bucket curl. Thanks in advance for your input.

3/8 is fine, myself after running hoses the length of the tractor i would even consider 1/4". Doesnt take much oil flow to angle a blade.

Thanks Tooljunkie I will likely go with 3/8 just in case I decide to hook up something else down the road. Cheers

Exactly what Kenny said. 1/4" was easy to route. Its only angling a blade, dont need a ton of volume...

The 3/8" is a little less forgiving,i strapped the pair of hoses together thinking it would be better, had to cut straps and redo because they dont bend /twist to shapes you want them to lay. 1/4" will also find its way through smaller gaps.

I used 1/4" for the truck plow on my truck. Pump is in the back of the truck, mounted by the hitch. Routing hose was easy.

I think the only time you will notice a problem is when its real cold,it will be a little slow until tractor warms up.

Thanks again tooljunkie good to get some feedback from someone that has experience trying to route hoses etc. Also good to hear from a fellow Canadian.
