I apologize if this has been asked/anwered in advance. I'm having trouble connecting one of the 4 hydraulic hoses from my FEL to my B 3000. The white, blue & red hose connect with no problem. The yellow one SEEMS like it wants to connect, but the ball bearings do not engage, or click into lock. The hose looks like it's all the way on, but it isn't locked. There is no pressure from either side (tractor or FEL). When I look at the female end (from the FEL) it appears that the sliding collar does not push forward all the way like the other three do. Very frustrating as this is a 1 month old B3000. Any suggestions on how to get the sliding collar to lock onto the tractor connection? Thanks in advance.

I am assuming that you have everything hooked in place all safety pins are in and everything,,, Ok with that in mind mover your control first, there is pressure in the line that's why it wont couple and moving the control leaver might relieve it,,,, If not take a flat screw driver and place the tip to the little tit and press it will take a bit of force but it will pop and some oil will dribble out,,, then you should be able to hook it right up

Thanks for your response. I am certain there is no pressure in the line. The coupling does go onto the male side. Its just that the ball bearings inside the female collar do not allow it to click in and lock

It's possible that there is a small stone or dirt stuck in the females collar. I have had that happen, I just dunked it into a small can with some cleaner and move the collar up and down and it will clean it out.
It is also possible that one of the ball valves is stuck, you can take a wood dowel and tap or push the balls to make sure they move freely and fully.
