I have a 2500DT and a 2600DT with a FEL. I am moving the loader from the 2600 to the 2500. It was going well until I ran into the priority valve and the hydraulic block.

The 2500 has a cover needs to go onto 2600. It has 2 studs at the top and a bolt on the bottom.

The 2600 has 3 studs for the hydraulic block. The studs are longer than the 2500, so the block will not fit onto the 2500 without longer studs.

Here is the question - do you have to remove the studs from the valve in order to move the valve over? I tried to remove the plate the valve attaches to but the 3rd bolt is blocked by the valve.

I can remove/reinstall the studs, it's just time consuming and if I could get to the 3rd bolt on the plate that would be easiest, but I don't see clearance.

TIA.

Well, sure I can do remove the studs, but I wanted to know if there was an easier way of removing this valve besides the studs.

Guess I will get a stud remover, cranking 1/4 turn at a time is awful....

If you remove the lines then the valve will slide off the side of the block then you will be able to remove the studs easy.

thanks. yes, I did try that too. here is another question.... the top hose has a single fitting, so 2 nuts. easy enough. the lower has 3 actually, two designated by 80 # in the diagram and the third with #40. which ones do I hold to remove?

Turn the Flare nut on the line and hold the nut on the fitting closest to the flare nut. ;)
