For a mx_5200 4wd. Want to add ballast to rear to improve stability & tracton when using front loader. Thinking about using barbell weights (I have almost 500 lb of them) on wheels & possibly a shaft/weight mounted on rear 3pt lift arms.

Would appreciate hearing ideas on how forum members have done it? Pictures would be wonderful. Tks. :)

My wheel weights are similar to what you want to build. I made a 'spud' to carry the weights inside the rear wheels and I can say it made a noticeable difference in stability with the front end loader. Pictures show about 500 lbs per side.

Exactly how I approached the weight issues with my log gone 5030 HSTC. I used Olympic weight plates instead of steel blanks. You learn by experience so when I bought the M's, I spec'd both with cast iron centers that the rims mount to. Think I have about 1200 pounds of OEM iron on 2 back wheels.

See your 'orange' don't match. Been there with that too. TSC now has Rustoleum Kubota Orange and it's a perfect Orange 2 match. FYI
