I've serviced this M8200 for a long time and never had a problem with confusion regarding the two dipsticks for trans/hydraulic fluid level. I even did a 14 gal. oil change with a filter change in the past. Now when I top off the hyd/trans fluid and see it register on the back dipstick, it does not register at all on the front dipstick in front of the seat, on top of the transmission. As I recall it used to? The trans case is real hot after 4-6 hours of spraying with a full load on our terraces. The tractor works real hard traversing our terraces for 4-6 hours, climbing 300 ft. of elevation while doing that. This is probably a factor in our burning out the coils on the bi-speed/4wd valve. The system pressure is 2700 so I think the relief valve is o.k. Any thoughts on this? 2015-07-21 10.52.25.jpg

I have an idea... With a full sprayer there is 1,000 lbs. bouncing on the 3pt, carried at full lift. The relief valve might be passing all the time and causing the oil to heat. I will check that the limiting rod is adjusted. Has anyone seen overheating with heavy loads on the 3pt.
This might be the reason why the 4wd/Bi Speed solenoids are burning uo too.

Pull the dip sticks and check to see if the dipstick has moved on the rubber stopper, it's happened to 2 of mine.

Yes check the three point feed back linkage.
and if you want to eliminate the three point as and issue, put a couple of check chains on the three point and lower the three point control.
