Hi Folks,
I am new to this forum and I recently bought a used ZD28 to cut 8 acres of grass on my land. The mower works well for this property as I have a good many trees to cut around. My question is about what is available as far as hitches and attachments like fertilizer spreaders and chemical sprayers or is this not a good idea for a zero turn mower?
Thanks in advance for any tips or advice.
I found a universal hitch on ebay at this link.

Kept within reason I see no issues with towing any implement. Not something like plows but fertilizer spreaders etc. Push blades were available from the factory on the ZD's so they do have some capacity to push / pull.

My Hustler super Z zero turn has a hitch from the factory. As I remembered they recommended up to 400 pounds towing on a implement on rubber tires, again nothing like a plow that would drag thru the ground and put a significantly higher pulling load on the machine.

I just ordered a ZD323. I went to Amazon and ordered a bolt on hitch. It was cheap. I plan to used it to tow a lawn sweeper. As dmanlyr said, as long as you are pulling something on wheels and not plowing, you have more than enough power to pull about anything. The ZD28 is simply a tractor turned around backwards.
