Would there be any concern with installing Hella 12v/55w offroad lights on a L3830? I would like to install KC HiLites 151 Apolio 151 that are 100w but thinking the KC's would kill the battery. KC lights are cover for 25 years and cheaper than Kubota light.
Any body running Hella or KC lights,

First off welcome,, and I would advise you to take a look at Wildfires post on his lighting he did on his BX 25 and on his Big Tractor,, all LEDs and they put out more light that I would have ever thought,, I mean LOTS A LIGHT. And the power draw would be a bunch less than any of the off road stuff you listed and more reliable as well... Just MHO you understand

Just keep in mind that you probably have a standard Kubota 40A alternater. So you have 480 watts to play with before you drain your battery. I believe you have 110 watts to spare - I did on my L3200 and put on a couple of 55W lamps, but you may not be able to run much more. The first time I revved the engine I pop'ed the 10A AUX fuse. I put in a 15A fuse and everything is OK. Think about those LEDs!
